AN ORDINANCE, repealing Ordinance No. 8143, adopted
July 24, 1990 and Ordinance No. 8453, adopted July 9, 1991, and
enacting a new ordinance in lieu thereof which prescribes the
salaries of the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer of the
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. Ordinance No. 8143, adopted July 24, 1990
and Ordinance No. 8453, adopted July 9, 1991, are hereby repealed.
Section Two. The salary of the Executive Director
shall be Ninety-nine Thousand Three Hundred Dollars ($99,300.00)
per annum, payable in equal bi-weekly installments, on and after
June 29, 1992.
Section Three. The salary of the Secretary-Treasurer
shall be Fifty-seven Thousand Four Hundred Dollars ($57,400.00),
payable in equal bi-weekly installments, on and after June 29,
1992.
Section Four. The positions of Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer are essential to the operation of the
District, and the salaries for said positions must be prescribed
without delay, thus creating an emergency within the meaning of
the Plan. Accordingly, this ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 8, 1992.
