Home My Public Portal About08742 O R D I N A N C E NO. 8742 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating a total of Nineteen Thousand Six Hundred Fifty Dollars ($19,650.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for gabion wall repair and appurtenances in Infrastructure Repair #050 (Warson Woods - Timber Lane Phase II) 92023, in the City of Warson Woods, Missouri; and confirming a contract with R.V. Wagner, Inc. for the aforesaid repair and appurtenances, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. WHEREAS, the bid for said repair and appurtenances is Fourteen Thousand Eight Hundred Eighteen Dollars ($14,818.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs, and allowance for construction change orders is Four Thousand Eight Hundred Thirty-two Dollars ($4,832.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named funds sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Nineteen Thousand Six Hundred Fifty Dollars ($19,650.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for gabion wall repair and appurtenances in Infrastructure Repair #050 (Warson Woods - Timber Lane Phase II) 92023, in the City of Warson Woods, Missouri. 2 Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the Executive Director to R.V. Wagner, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for gabion wall repair and appurtenances in Infrastructure Repair #050 (Warson Woods - Timber Lane Phase II) 92023, in the City of Warson Woods, Missouri, with the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 9th day of July, 1992 and formally executed on the 11th day of August, 1992 by said contractor and by the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. 3 The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 12, 1992.
