HomeMy Public PortalAbout08752 O R D I N A N C E NO. 8752 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Eight Hundred Ten Thousand Dollars ($810,000.00) from the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of the Bissell Point Watershed Overflow Regulation System Southern Sewer Rehabilitation (BP-10A, 92046A), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and confirming a contract with Affholder, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid contract, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of the Southern Sewer Rehabilitation is Seven Hundred Seventy-one Thousand Nine Hundred Twenty Dollars ($771,920.00) and the allowance for change orders is Thirty-eight Thousand Eighty Dollars ($38,080.00), and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 7.120 of the Plan of the District, the appropriation effected herein will not result in a deficit at the end of the current budget year, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Eight Hundred Ten Thousand Dollars ($810,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of the Bissell Point Watershed Overflow Regulation System Southern Sewer Rehabilitation (BP-10A, 92046A), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the Executive Director to Affholder, Inc. as the lowest responsible 2 bidder for the construction of the Bissell Point Watershed Overflow Regulation System Central Sewer Rehabilitation (BP-10A, 92046A), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, with the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 23rd day of July, 1992 and formally executed on the 11th day of August, 1992 by said contractor and by the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. 3 The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 9, 1992.
