AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to sell to Grace Church-Saint Louis, Inc. the Penn
Junction P-721 Pump Station and appurtenances, as located in the
City of Maryland Heights, Missouri.
WHEREAS, said pump station and appurtenances are no
longer necessary for District operations in that they serve only
Grace Church-Saint Louis, Inc., and
WHEREAS, Grace Church-Saint Louis, Inc. is willing to
assume the ownership, operation, and maintenance of said pump
station and appurtenances, and
WHEREAS, the value of said pump station and
appurtenances is minimal, and continued District ownership would
entail increased costs of maintenance and the replacement of said
pump station and appurtenances,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of the Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to sell to Grace Church-Saint Louis, Inc. the
Penn Junction P-721 Pump Station and appurtenances, as located in
the City of Maryland Heights, Missouri.
Section Two. The sale as authorized in Section One of
this ordinance shall be comprised of such terms and conditions as
are approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 9, 1992.
