Home My Public Portal About08776REPEALED BY ORDINANCE NO. 8778 - 9/17/92 O R D I N A N C E NO. 8776 AN ORDINANCE, repealing Ordinance No. 8729, as adopted July 8, 1992, and enacting a new Ordinance in lieu thereof, prescribing the Classification Plan for all employees in the Classified Service of the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, with an emergency clause. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Ordinance No. 8729, as adopted July 8, 1992, is hereby repealed and superseded. Section Two. Subject to the Civil Service Rules for administration, all positions in the Classified Service of the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District shall be classified, coded and graded as follows: THE METROPOLITAN ST. Notwithstanding any other provisions of this ordinance, this ordinance shall become effective September 7, 1992, provided that the District is notified on or before September 15, 1992 by both the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, Local No. 410 and the United Wastewater Workers Association that their respective memberships, in accordance with the applicable provisions of their constitutions, rules, bylaws, etc., have approved the District's prior offer of all terms to be included in the separate Memorandums of Understanding between the District and the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, Local 410 and the United Wastewater Workers Association. In the event that the District does not receive the aforesaid notifications, this ordinance shall be of no force and effect. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 9, 1992.
