AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Hundred Thirty
Thousand Dollars ($430,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund
to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary
sewers in CC-12 Turtle Creek Sanitary Relief (89035), in the City
of Creve Coeur, Missouri; and confirming a contract with Concrete
Design, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid sanitary
sewers, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the
District.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary
sewers is Three Hundred Fifty-eight Thousand Seven Hundred
Seventy-nine Dollars ($358,779.00), and the cost of engineering,
inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs, easement
costs, and allowance for construction change orders is Seventy-one
Thousand Two Hundred Twenty-one Dollars ($71,221.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Thirty Thousand
Dollars ($430,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary
Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction
of sanitary sewers in CC-12 Turtle Creek Sanitary Relief (89035),
in the City of Creve Coeur, Missouri.
Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the

Executive Director to Concrete Design, Inc. as the lowest
responsible bidder for the construction of sanitary sewers in CC-
12 Turtle Creek Sanitary Relief (89035), in the City of Creve
Coeur, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District,
pursuant to bids received and opened on the 18th day of September,
1992 and formally executed on the 13th day of October, 1992 by
said contractor and by the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed, in
compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
