AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Sixty Thousand
Dollars ($260,000.00) from the Emergency Fund for emergency sewer
repairs in 8th and Olive Street Emergency Sewer Repairs (93022),
in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive
Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to enter into contracts with Insituform
Missouri, Inc. and Sverdrup Corporation, Inc. for the aforesaid
emergency sewer repairs.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Sixty Thousand
Dollars ($260,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Emergency
Fund for emergency sewer repairs in 8th and Olive Street Emergency
Sewer Repairs (93022), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to enter into contracts with Insituform
Missouri, Inc. and Sverdrup Corporation, Inc. for emergency sewer
repairs in 8th and Olive Street Emergency Sewer Repairs (93022),
in the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
Section Three. The contracts authorized in Section Two
of this ordinance shall be comprised of such terms and conditions

as are approved by the office of the General Counsel of the
District.
Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 14, 1992.
