HomeMy Public PortalAbout08831 O R D I N A N C E NO. 8831 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Six Hundred Thirty Thousand Dollars ($630,000.00) from the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund to be used for project costs for the procurement of Pump Replacement Parts (BP-04A, 93025A) for the Bissell Point Watershed Overflow Regulation System Bissell Point Pumping Station Modifications, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and confirming a contract with Ingersoll-Dresser Pump Division for the furnishing of the aforesaid equipment, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. WHEREAS, the bid for the furnishing of Pump Replacement Parts is Five Hundred Ninety-five Thousand Seven Hundred Thirty- six Dollars ($595,736.00) and the allowance for change orders is Thirty-four Thousand Two Hundred Sixty-four Dollars ($34,264.00), and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 7.120 of the Plan of the District, the appropriation effected herein will not result in a deficit at the end of the current budget year, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Six Hundred Thirty Thousand Dollars ($630,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund to be used for project costs for the procurement of Pump Replacement Parts (BP-04A, 93025A) for the Bissell Point Watershed Overflow Regulation System Bissell Point Pumping Station Modifications, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. 2 Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the Executive Director to Ingersoll-Dresser Pump Division as the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of Pump Replacement Parts (BP-04A, 93025A) for the Bissell Point Watershed Overflow Regulation System Bissell Point Pumping Station Modifications, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 27th day of October, 1992 and formally executed on the 17th day of November, 1992 by said contractor and by the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. 3 The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 11, 1992.
