AN ORDINANCE, appointing Johnson & Higgins of Missouri,
Inc. the insurance broker of record for The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District for a period of three (3) years, effective January
1, 1993; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of the District to enter into a contract or
contracts with Johnson & Higgins of Missouri, Inc. whereby Johnson
& Higgins of Missouri, Inc. will serve as the District's broker of
record and provide other services for the District's insurance
program.
WHEREAS, the staff has received and evaluated proposals
from insurance brokerage firms to act as the District's broker of
record and to provide other services for the District's insurance
program, and
WHEREAS, the staff has recommended the selection of
Johnson & Higgins of Missouri, Inc.,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. Johnson & Higgins of Missouri, Inc. is
hereby appointed the insurance broker of record for The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District for a period of three (3)
years, effective January 1, 1993; and the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of the
District to enter into a contract or contracts with Johnson &
Higgins of Missouri, Inc. whereby Johnson & Higgins of Missouri,
Inc. will provide brokerage and other related services for the
District's insurance program.
Section Two. The contracts authorized in Section One of
this Ordinance shall be comprised of such terms and conditions as
are approved by the office of the General Counsel.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 11, 1992.
