AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Thirty-nine
Thousand One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($239,150.00) from the
Coldwater Creek Sewer Extension and Improvement Fund to be used
for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in
Coachway - White Birch Sanitary Relief (89038), in the City of
Hazelwood, Missouri; and confirming a contract with J.H. Berra
Construction Company, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid
sanitary sewers, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of
the District.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary
sewers is One Hundred Seventy-four Thousand One Hundred Thirty-
nine and 40/100 Dollars ($174,139.40), and the cost of
engineering, inspection, advertisement costs, and allowance for
construction change orders is Sixty-five Thousand Ten and 60/100
Dollars ($65,010.60), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Thirty-nine
Thousand One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($239,150.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Coldwater Creek Sewer Extension and
Improvement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction
of sanitary sewers in Coachway - White Birch Sanitary Relief

(89038), in the City of Hazelwood, Missouri.
Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to J.H Berra Construction Company, Inc. as the
lowest responsible bidder for the construction of sanitary sewers
in Coachway - White Birch Sanitary Relief (89038), in the City of
Hazelwood Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 7th day of
January, 1993 and formally executed on the 18th day of January,
1993 by said contractor and by the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed,
in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
