HomeMy Public PortalAbout08877 O R D I N A N C E NO. 8877 AN ORDINANCE, authorizing and directing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to sell and convey to James B. Becker, certain real property of the District (known as Parcel 106B, the Sulphur Springs Road Property) located in St. Louis County, Missouri, and prescribing the terms of said transaction. WHEREAS, the real property hereinafter described has been declared as surplus pursuant to Resolution No. 2075, and WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 2016, adopted the 18th day of September, 1991, said real property was appraised, offered for sale and will be sold to the highest bidder for same, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer on behalf of the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District are hereby authorized and directed to sell and convey to James B. Becker, certain real property of the District located in St. Louis County, Missouri for the total sale price of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00), said real property being described as follows: A tract of land in the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 13, Township 44 North, Range 5 East, St. Louis County, Missouri, being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the southeast corner of said Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter; thence westwardly along the south line of said Northwest Quarter North 89o54'46" West 180.05 feet to a point in the east line of Sulphur Springs Road, 50 feet wide, as established in Book 923, Page 387 of the St. Louis County Records; thence Northwardly along said east line of Sulphur Springs Road along a curve to the left having a radius of 1935.08 feet an arc distance of 296.50 feet to a point of tangency; thence North 16o20' West 428.56 feet to the point of beginning of the tract herein described; thence continuing along said east line North 16o20' West 100.0 feet to a point; thence North 82o54'52" East 118.37 feet to a point; thence South 7o05'08" East 98.70 feet to a point; thence South 82o54'52" West 102.30 feet to the point of beginning and containing in all 10,890.00 square feet, or 0.25 acres, more or less. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer are hereby authorized and directed on behalf of the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to execute and deliver a Special Warranty Deed and any and all other documents as approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District as may be necessary to effect the sale and conveyance as authorized in Section One above, and further to deposit the proceeds from said sale and conveyance in the reserve for Real Property Purchase, Improvement and Alterations Account. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 10, 1993.
