AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Fifty-eight
Thousand Dollars ($258,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Creve Coeur-Frontenac to be used
for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in DC-8
Deer Creek Sanitary Relief Phase II (92115), in the City of
Frontenac, Missouri; and confirming a contract with Purler-Cannon-
Schulte, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid sanitary
sewers, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the
District.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary
sewers is Two Hundred Nine Thousand One Hundred Six and 20/100
Dollars ($209,106.20), and the cost of engineering, inspection,
construction staking, advertisement costs, and allowance for
construction change orders is Forty-eight Thousand Eight Hundred
Ninety-three and 80/100 Dollars ($48,893.80), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Fifty-eight
Thousand Dollars ($258,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Creve
Coeur-Frontenac to be used for project costs for the construction
of sanitary sewers in DC-8 Deer Creek Sanitary Relief Phase II

(92115), in the City of Frontenac, Missouri.
Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to Purler-Cannon-Schulte, Inc. as the lowest
responsible bidder for the construction of sanitary sewers in DC-8
Deer Creek Sanitary Relief Phase II (92115), in the City of
Frontenac, Missouri, with the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 21st day of
January, 1993 and formally executed on the 9th day of February,
1993 by said contractor and by the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed,
in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.

The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 10, 1993.
