AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Thirty-nine Thousand Seven
Hundred Fifty-seven and 02/100 Dollars ($39,757.02) from the
Improvement Fund to pay the State of Missouri's share of the total
costs for the construction of storm channels in Channel
Improvements to Two Mile Creek Stormwater Project (P-18362), in
the City of Des Peres, Missouri.
WHEREAS, said project was undertaken by the City of Des
Peres, Missouri at an estimated total cost of One Hundred Nineteen
Thousand Two Hundred Seventy-one and 05/100 Dollars ($119,271.05),
and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Thirty-nine Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty-seven and 02/100 Dollars
($39,757.02) toward the total costs of said project, and will
deposit said amount with the District, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Thirty-nine Thousand Seven
Hundred Fifty-seven and 02/100 Dollars ($39,757.02) is hereby
appropriated from the Improvement Fund to pay the State of
Missouri's share of the total costs for the construction of storm
channels in Channel Improvements to Two Mile Creek Stormwater
Project (P-18362), in the City of Des Peres, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 10, 1993.
