HomeMy Public PortalAbout08900 O R D I N A N C E NO. 8900 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Million One Hundred Thirty Thousand Dollars ($1,130,000.00) from the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund to be used for project costs for the procurement of Medium Voltage Adjustable Drive Systems (BP- 04B, 93025B) for the Bissell Point Watershed Overflow Regulation System Bissell Point Pumping Station Modifications, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and confirming a contract with Ross Hill Controls Corporation for the furnishing of the aforesaid equipment, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. WHEREAS, the evaluated bid for the furnishing of Medium Voltage Adjustable Drive systems is One Million Eight-two Thousand Sixty Dollars ($1,082,060.00), and the allowance for change orders is Forty-seven Thousand Nine Hundred Forty Dollars ($47,940.00), and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 7.120 of the Plan of the District, the appropriation effected herein will not result in a deficit at the end of the current budget year, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Million One Hundred Thirty Thousand Dollars ($1,130,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund to be used for project costs for the procurement of Medium Voltage Adjustable Drive Systems (BP-04B, 93025B) for the Bissell Point Watershed Overflow 2 Regulation System Bissell Point Pumping Station Modifications, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the Executive Director to Ross Hill Controls Corporation as the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of Medium Voltage Adjustable Drive Systems (BP-04B, 93025B) for the Bissell Point Watershed Overflow Regulation System Bissell Point Pumping Station Modifications, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 22nd day of December, 1992 and formally executed on the 9th day of February, 1993 by said contractor and by the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. 3 The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 10, 1993.
