AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Six Hundred Sixty Thousand
Dollars ($660,000.00) from the Clean Water Capital Improvement
Trust Fund to be used for project costs for the installation of
the Main Plant Substation Improvements (BP-9D10, 92040) at the
Bissell Point Wastewater Treatment Plant, in the City of St.
Louis, Missouri; and confirming a contract with Union Electric
Company for the furnishing of the aforesaid services, in
compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District.
WHEREAS, the cost for the installation of the Main
Plant Substation Improvements is Six Hundred Twenty-eight Thousand
Eight Hundred Ninety-two Dollars ($628,892.00) and the allowance
for change orders is Thirty-one Thousand One Hundred Eight Dollars
($31,108.00), and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 7.120 of the Plan of the
District, the appropriation effected herein will not result in a
deficit at the end of the current budget year,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Six Hundred Sixty Thousand
Dollars ($660,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Clean Water
Capital Improvement Trust Fund to be used for project costs for
the installation of the Main Plant Substation Improvements (BP-
9D10, 92040) at the Bissell Point Wastewater Treatment Plant, in
the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to enter into an Agreement with Union
Electric Company for the installation of the Main Plant Substation
Improvements (BP-9D10, 92040) at the Bissell Point Wastewater
Treatment Plant, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 10, 1993.
