AN ORDINANCE, amending Ordinance No. 8891, as adopted
February 10, 1993, by inserting the words "St. Louis" and "and
unincorporated St. Louis County" in the preamble and in Section
One and Section Two; and deleting the words "St. Louis County"
from the second WHEREAS clause, and substituting therefore the
words "the City of St. Louis".
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The preamble of Ordinance No. 8891, as
adopted February 10, 1993, is hereby amended by inserting the
words "St. Louis" and "and unincorporated St. Louis County"
therein, and shall now read as follows:
"AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Nine Hundred Ninety-five
Thousand Dollars ($995,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund
to be used for project costs for the rehabilitation of combined
sewers in South Baden and Other Bissell Watershed Sewer
Rehabilitation Projects - Phase I (89191), in the Cities of St.
Louis, Jennings, Pine Lawn, and unincorporated St. Louis County,
Missouri; and confirming a contract with Affholder, Inc. for the
aforesaid rehabilitation, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the
Plan of the District."
Section Two. The second WHEREAS clause of Ordinance
No. 8891, as adopted February 10, 1993, is hereby amended by
deleting the words "St. Louis County" therefrom, and substituting
therefore the words "the City of St. Louis", and shall now read as

follows:
WHEREAS, the City of St. Louis, Missouri, pursuant to
the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, has agreed to
contribute Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($200,000.00) toward the
total costs of said project; upon the receipt of such funds from
said source, said money will be returned to the Sanitary
Replacement Fund, and"
Section Three. Section One of Ordinance No. 8891, as
adopted February 10, 1993, is hereby amended by inserting the
words "St. Louis" and "and unincorporated St. Louis County"
therein, and shall now read as follows:
"Section One. The sum of Nine Hundred Ninety-five
Thousand Dollars ($995,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the
rehabilitation of combined sewers in South Baden and Other Bissell
Watershed Sewer Rehabilitation Projects - Phase I (89191), in the
Cities of St. Louis, Jennings, Pine Lawn, and unincorporated St.
Louis County, Missouri."
Section Four. Section Two of Ordinance No. 8891, as
adopted February 10, 1993, is hereby amended by inserting the
words "St. Louis" and "and unincorporated St. Louis County"
therein, and shall now read as follows:
"Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to Affholder, Inc. as the lowest responsible
bidder for the rehabilitation of combined sewers in South Baden

and Other Bissell Watershed Sewer Rehabilitation Projects - Phase
I (89191), in the Cities of St. Louis, Jennings, Pine Lawn, and
unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, with The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on
the 8th day of February 1993 and formally executed on the 9th day
of February 1993 by said contractor and by the Executive Director
and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby
confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the
District."

The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 10, 1993.
