HomeMy Public PortalAbout08910 O R D I N A N C E NO. 8910 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Thirty-three Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($33,500.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Reasor & Elbring Storm Sewer (91040), in the City of Hazelwood, Missouri; and confirming a contract with Yowell Construction Company for the construction of the aforesaid storm sewers, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is Twenty Thousand Eight Hundred Thirty-one Dollars ($20,831.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs, easement costs, and allowance for construction change orders is Twelve Thousand Six Hundred Sixty-nine Dollars ($12,669.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Thirty-three Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($33,500.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Reasor & Elbring Storm Sewer (91040), in the City of Hazelwood, Missouri. 2 Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the Executive Director to Yowell Construction Company as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of storm sewers in Reasor & Elbring Storm Sewer (91040), in the City of Hazelwood, Missouri, with the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 4th day of March, 1993 and formally executed on the 9th day of March, 1993 by said contractor and by the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. 3 The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 10, 1993.
