AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Seventy Thousand Dollars
($70,000.00) from the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund
to be used for engineering design services for the Bissell Point
Secondary Treatment Project in the City of St. Louis, Missouri;
and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on
behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into
Amendment #8 to Contract E-442 with Sverdrup Corporation and
Havens and Emerson, Inc., a joint venture, for said engineering
design services.
WHEREAS, Amendment #8 defines the scope of services,
time and fees and payments for the engineering design services,
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 7.120 of the Plan of the
District, the appropriation effected herein will not result in a
deficit at the end of the current budget year,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Seventy Thousand Dollars
($70,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Clean Water Capital
Improvement Trust Fund for professional services with Sverdrup
Corporation and Havens and Emerson, Inc., a joint venture, for the
Bissell Point Secondary Treatment Project, M.S.D. Contract E-442,
Amendment #8.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment #8 to Contract E-442

with Sverdrup Corporation and Havens and Emerson, Inc., a joint
venture, for engineering design services for the Bissell Point
Secondary Treatment Project in the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
