AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Hundred Seventy-four
Thousand Dollars ($374,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund
to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary
sewers in Weidman Road Sanitary Relief Phase I (86020), in St.
Louis County, Missouri; and confirming a contract with Purler-
Cannon-Schulte, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid
sanitary sewers, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of
the District.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary
sewers is Three Hundred Two Thousand Nine Hundred Eighteen Dollars
($302,918.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection,
construction staking, advertisement costs, easement costs, and
allowance for construction change orders is Seventy-one Thousand
Eighty-two Dollars ($71,082.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Seventy-four
Thousand Dollars ($374,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the
construction of sanitary sewers in Weidman Road Sanitary Relief
Phase I (86020), in St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the

Executive Director to Purler-Cannon-Schulte, Inc. as the lowest
responsible bidder for the construction of sanitary sewers in
Weidman Road Sanitary Relief Phase I (86020), in Louis County,
Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant
to bids received and opened on the 12th day of March, 1993, and
formally executed on the 13th day of April, 1993 by said
contractor and by the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer
on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with
Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
