HomeMy Public PortalAbout08947 O R D I N A N C E NO. 8947 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Twenty-seven Thousand Dollars ($127,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Lower Meramec River Basin to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers and appurtenances in Infrastructure Repair #020P Stonetree/Pebble Point (P-432)(P-430) 90049, in St. Louis County, Missouri; and confirming a contract with Unnerstall Contracting Co., Ltd. for the construction of the aforesaid sanitary sewers and appurtenances, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary sewers and appurtenances is Eighty-nine Thousand Seven Hundred Thirty-one and 50/100 Dollars ($89,731.50), and the cost of engineering, inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs, easement costs and allowance for construction change orders is Thirty-seven Thousand Two Hundred Sixty-eight and 50/100 Dollars ($37,268.50). WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Hundred Twenty-seven Thousand Dollars ($127,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement of Lower Meramec River Basin to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers and appurtenances in Infrastructure Repair #020P Stonetree/Pebble Point (P-432)(P-430) 90049, in St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the Executive Director to Unnerstall Contracting Co., Ltd. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of sanitary sewers and appurtenances in Infrastructure Repair #020P Stonetree/Pebble Point (P-432)(P-430) 90049, in St. Louis County, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 22nd day of March, 1993 and formally executed on the 13th day of April, 1993 by said contractor and by the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 14, 1993.
