AN ORDINANCE, appropriating a total of Three Hundred
Twenty-one Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($321,500.00) to be
funded as follows: One Hundred Twenty-two Thousand Two Hundred
Fifty Dollars ($122,250.00) from the Fee Fee Sewer Extension and
Improvement Fund and One Hundred Ninety-nine Thousand Two Hundred
Fifty Dollars ($199,250.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to
be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers
in CC-19 Mason/Ladue Sanitary Relief (90013), in unincorporated
St. Louis County, Missouri; and confirming a contract with Yowell
Construction Company for the construction of the aforesaid
sanitary sewers in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of
the District.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary
sewers is Two Hundred Thirty-one Thousand Ninety-four Dollars
($231,094.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection,
construction staking, advertisement costs, easement costs, other
costs and allowance for construction change orders is Ninety
Thousand Four Hundred Six Dollars ($90,406.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The total sum of Three Hundred Twenty-one
Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($321,500.00) to be funded as

follows: One Hundred Twenty-two Thousand Two Hundred Fifty
Dollars ($122,250.00) from the Fee Fee Sewer Extension and
Improvement Fund and One Hundred Ninety-nine Thousand Two Hundred
Fifty Dollars ($199,250.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund is
hereby appropriated to be used for project costs for the
construction of sanitary sewers in CC-19 Mason/Ladue Sanitary
Relief (90013), in unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to Yowell Construction Company as the lowest
responsible bidder for the construction of sanitary sewers in CC-
19 Mason/Ladue Sanitary Relief (90013), in unincorporated St.
Louis County, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 22nd day of
April, 1993 and formally executed on the 11th day of May, 1993 by
said contractor and by the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed, in
compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
