AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Sixty-six
Thousand Dollars ($266,000.00) from the Coldwater Creek Sewer
Extension and Improvement Fund to be used for project costs for
the construction of sanitary sewers in Gordon Ave. & Jonell Ct.
Sanitary Relief (87149), in the City of St. John, Missouri; and
confirming a contract with Concrete Design, Inc. for the
construction of the aforesaid sanitary sewers, in compliance with
Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary
sewers is Two Hundred One Thousand Nine Hundred Seventy-six and
40/100 Dollars ($201,976.40), and the cost of engineering,
inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs, easement
costs, and allowance for construction change orders is Sixty-four
Thousand Twenty-three and 60/100 Dollars ($64,023.60), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Sixty-six Thousand
Dollars ($266,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Coldwater
Creek Sewer Extension and Improvement Fund to be used for project
costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Gordon Ave. &
Jonell Ct. Sanitary Relief (87149), in the City of St. John,
Missouri.

Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to Concrete Design, Inc. as the lowest
responsible bidder for the construction of sanitary sewers in
Gordon Ave. & Jonell Ct. Sanitary Relief (87149), in the City of
St. John, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 28th day of
April, 1993 and formally executed on the 11th day of May, 1993 by
said contractor and by the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed in
compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
