AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Million Three Hundred
Ninety-eight Thousand Dollars ($3,398,000.00) from the Sanitary
Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the
rehabilitation of combined sewers in Infrastructure Repair #083
(Washington/3rd-Eighth/Spruce) 93062, in the City of St. Louis,
Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer to enter into a contract with Insituform Missouri, Inc.
for the rehabilitation of the aforesaid combined sewers.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is
an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay
the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Three Million Three Hundred Ninety-
eight Thousand Dollars ($3,398,000.00) is hereby appropriated from
the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the
rehabilitation of combined sewers in Infrastructure Repair #083
(Washington/3rd-Eighth/Spruce) 93062, in the City of St. Louis,
Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer
are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Insituform
Missouri, Inc. for the rehabilitation of combined sewers in
Infrastructure Repair #083 (Washington/3rd-Eighth/Spruce) 93062,
in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, said contract to be comprised
of such terms and conditions as are approved by the office of the
General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 9, 1993.
