AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Forty-six Thousand Three
Hundred Dollars ($46,300.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Blackjack-Dellwood to be used for
project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Hallwood Dr.
#10741 Storm Sewer (91116), in St. Louis County, Missouri; and
confirming a contract with Yowell Construction Company for the
construction of the aforesaid storm sewers, in compliance with
Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm
sewers is Twenty-nine Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety-seven Dollars
($29,997.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection,
construction staking, advertisement costs, and allowance for
construction change orders is Sixteen Thousand Three Hundred Three
Dollars ($16,303.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Forty-six Thousand Three
Hundred Dollars ($46,300.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Blackjack-Dellwood to be used for project costs for the
construction of storm sewers in Hallwood Dr. #10741 Storm Sewer
(91116), in St. Louis County, Missouri.

Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to Yowell Construction Company as the lowest
responsible bidder for the construction of storm sewers in
Hallwood Dr. #10741 Storm Sewer (91116) in St. Louis County,
Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant
to bids received and opened on the 5th day of May, 1993 and
formally executed on the 8th day of June, 1993 by said contractor
and by the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of
the District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040
of the Plan of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
