HomeMy Public PortalAbout09013 O R D I N A N C E NO. 9013 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Forty-one Thousand One Hundred Seventy-five Dollars ($41,175.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Rayburn to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Rayburn & Floralea Storm Sewer (91071), in the City of Sunset Hills, Missouri; and confirming a contract with J.H. Berra Construction Company, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid storm sewers, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is Thirty Thousand Nine Hundred Sixty-five Dollars ($30,965.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs, easement costs, and allowance for construction change orders is Ten Thousand Two Hundred Ten Dollars ($10,210.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Forty-one Thousand One Hundred Seventy-five Dollars ($41,175.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Rayburn to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Rayburn & Floralea Storm Sewer (91071), in the City of 2 Sunset Hills, Missouri. Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the Executive Director to J.H. Berra Construction Company, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of storm sewers in Rayburn & Floralea Storm Sewer (91071) in the City of Sunset Hills, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 6th day of May, 1993 and formally executed on the 8th day of June, 1993 by said contractor and by the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. 3 The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 9, 1993.
