AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Eight Thousand
Dollars ($208,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for
project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Kingsley and
Blackwood Storm Sewer (92022), in the City of Florissant,
Missouri; and confirming a contract with J.H. Berra Construction
Company, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid storm sewers,
in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm
sewers is One Hundred Sixty Thousand Eight Hundred Eighty-seven
and 30/100 Dollars ($160,887.30), and the cost of engineering,
inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs, easement
costs, and allowance for construction change orders is Forty-seven
Thousand One Hundred Twelve and 70/100 Dollars ($47,112.70), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Eight Thousand
Dollars ($208,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek
to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers
in Kingsley and Blackwood Storm Sewer (92022), in the City of
Florissant, Missouri.

Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to J.H. Berra Construction Company, Inc. as the
lowest responsible bidder for the construction of storm sewers in
Kingsley and Blackwood Storm Sewer (92022), in the City of
Florissant, Missouri with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 24th day of
May, 1993 and formally executed on the 8th day of June, 1993 by
said contractor and by the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed, in
compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
