AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Hundred Thirty-five
Thousand Six Hundred Dollars ($435,600.00) from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Clayton Central
to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary and
storm sewers in East Clayton Central Sewer - Phase IV (92126), in
the City of Clayton, Missouri; and confirming a contract with
Concrete Design, Inc. for the aforesaid construction, in
compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District.
WHEREAS, the bid for the said construction is Three
Hundred Sixty-nine Thousand Four Hundred Fifty-eight and 94/100
Dollars ($369,458.94), and the cost of engineering, inspection,
advertisement costs, easement costs and allowance for construction
change orders is Sixty-six Thousand One Hundred Forty-one and
06/100 Dollars ($66,141.06), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Thirty-five
Thousand Six Hundred Dollars ($435,600.00) is hereby appropriated
from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund
of Clayton Central to be used for project costs for the
construction of sanitary and storm sewers in East Clayton Central
Sewer - Phase IV (92126), in the City of Clayton, Missouri.

Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to Concrete Design, Inc. as the lowest
responsible bidder for the construction of sanitary and storm
sewers in East Clayton Central Sewer - Phase IV (92126), in the
City of Clayton, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 8th day of
June, 1993 and formally executed on the 13th day of July, 1993 by
said contractor and by the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed, in
compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
