AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Twenty-seven Thousand Six
Hundred Fifty Dollars ($27,650.00) from the General Fund of the
District for the identification of disadvantaged business
enterprise vendors in the areas of supplies and services; and
authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer to
enter into a contract with St. Louis Black Pages for the aforesaid
identification services.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Twenty-seven Thousand Six
Hundred Fifty Dollars ($27,650.00) is hereby appropriated from the
General Fund of the District for the identification of
disadvantaged business enterprise vendors in the areas of supplies
and services.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with St.
Louis Black Pages for the identification of disadvantaged business
enterprise vendors in the areas of supplies and services; said
contract to be comprised of such terms and conditions as are
approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 14, 1993.
