AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Million One Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($1,100,000.00) from the Clean Water Capital
Improvement Trust Fund to be used for project costs for the
construction of the Bissell Point Pumping Station Modifications
(BP-04, 93070), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and confirming
a contract with Goodwin Bros. Construction Co. for the
construction of the aforesaid contract, in compliance with Section
9.040 of the Plan of the District.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of the Bissell
Point Pumping Station Modifications is Nine Hundred Ninety-eight
Thousand Dollars ($998,000.00) and the cost of asbestos removal
and allowance for change orders is One Hundred Two Thousand
Dollars ($102,000.00), and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 7.120 of the Plan of the
District, the appropriation effected herein will not result in a
deficit at the end of the current budget year,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Million One Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($1,100,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund to be used for project
costs for the construction of the Bissell Point Pumping Station
Modifications (BP-04, 93070), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to Goodwin Bros. Construction Co. as the lowest

responsible bidder for the construction of the Bissell Point
Pumping Station Modifications (BP-04, 93070), in the City of St.
Louis, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District,
pursuant to bids received and opened on the 24th day of June, 1993
and formally executed on the 13th day of July, 1993 by said
contractor and by the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer
on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with
Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
