AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into a contract with Goodwin Bros. Construction
Co. for emergency services for the 1993 Flood Restoration -
District Pump Stations (94022), in the City of St. Louis and St.
Louis County, Missouri, with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Goodwin Bros.
Construction Co. for emergency services for the 1993 Flood
Restoration - District Pump Stations (94022), in the City of St.
Louis and St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The contract as authorized in Section One
of this ordinance shall be comprised of such terms and conditions
as are approved by the office of the General Counsel of the
District.
Section Three. The emergency services as hereinabove
authorized are necessary for the protection of the public health,
and must proceed without delay, thus creating an emergency within
the meaning of the Plan. Accordingly, this ordinance shall take
effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 11, 1993.
