AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Six Hundred Eighty-nine
Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($689,200.00) from the Coldwater
Creek Extension and Improvement Fund to be used for project costs
for the Coldwater Plant Electrical and Other Improvements (90118);
and confirming a contract with Consolidated Electrical &
Mechanicals, Inc. for the aforesaid project, in compliance with
Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District.
WHEREAS, the bid for the aforesaid project is Five
Hundred Thirty-two Thousand Ninety-seven Dollars ($532,097.00),
and the cost of engineering, inspection, advertisement costs, and
allowance for construction change orders is One Hundred Fifty-
seven Thousand One Hundred Three Dollars ($157,103.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund
sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Six Hundred Eighty-nine
Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($689,200.00) is hereby appropriated
from the Coldwater Creek Extension and Improvement Fund to be used
for project costs for the Coldwater Plant Electrical and Other
Improvements (90118).
Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to Consolidated Electrical & Mechanicals, Inc.
as the lowest responsible bidder for the Coldwater Plant

Electrical and Other Improvements (90118), with The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on
the 2nd day of September, 1993 and formally executed on the 7th
day of September, 1993 by said contractor and by the Executive
Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District is
hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of
the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.

The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 6, 1993.
