HomeMy Public PortalAbout09113 O R D I N A N C E NO. 9113 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Six Hundred Seventy Thousand Dollars ($670,000.00) from the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of the Bissell Point Watershed Overflow Regulation System Northern Sewer Rehabilitation (BP-013E, 92116E), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and confirming a contract with Insituform Missouri, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid contract, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of the Northern Sewer Rehabilitation is Six Hundred Forty Thousand Dollars ($640,000.00) and the allowance for change orders is Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000.00), and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 7.120 of the Plan of the District, the appropriation effected herein will not result in a deficit at the end of the current budget year, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Six Hundred Seventy Thousand Dollars ($670,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of the Bissell Point Watershed Overflow Regulation System Northern Sewer Rehabilitation (BP-013E, 92116E), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the 2 Executive Director to Insituform Missouri, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of the Bissell Point Watershed Overflow Regulation System Northern Sewer Rehabilitation (BP-013E, 92116E), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 23rd day of September, 1993 and formally executed on the 5th day of October, 1993 by said contractor and by the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. 3 The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 17, 1993.
