HomeMy Public PortalAbout09118 O R D I N A N C E NO. 9118 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Hundred Thousand Dollars ($400,000.00) from the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of the Bissell Point Watershed Overflow Regulation System Southern Sewer Rehabilitation (BP-010D, 92046D), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and confirming a contract with Bates Utility Co., Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid contract, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of the Southern Sewer Rehabilitation is Three Hundred Eighty Thousand Three Hundred Eighty and 30/100 Dollars ($380,380.30) and the allowance for change orders is Nineteen Thousand Six Hundred Nineteen and 70/100 Dollars ($19,619.70), and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 7.120 of the Plan of the District, the appropriation effected herein will not result in a deficit at the end of the current budget year, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Thousand Dollars ($400,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of the Bissell Point Watershed Overflow Regulation System Southern Sewer Rehabilitation (BP-010D, 92046D), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the 2 Executive Director to Bates Utility Co., Inc., Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of the Bissell Point Watershed Overflow Regulation System Southern Sewer Rehabilitation (BP-010D, 92046D), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 26th day of October, 1993 and formally executed on the 16th day of November, 1993 by said contractor and by the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. 3 The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 17, 1993.
