AN ORDINANCE, appropriating a total of One Hundred
Ninety-seven Thousand Dollars ($197,000.00) to be funded as
follows: One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Coldwater Creek and Ninety-seven Thousand Dollars ($97,000.00)
from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund
of Wedgewood Creek, to be used for project costs for the
construction of storm sewers in Sorrell Drive #2810 (85047), in
the City of Florissant, Missouri; and confirming a contract with
Schuster Engineering, Inc. for the aforesaid construction, in
compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm
sewers is One Hundred Forty-eight Thousand Three Hundred Thirty-
three Dollars ($148,333.00), and the cost of engineering,
inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs, easement
costs and allowance for construction change orders is Forty-eight
Thousand Six Hundred Sixty-seven Dollars ($48,667.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that
there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named funds
sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Ninety-seven
Thousand Dollars ($197,000.00) to be funded as follows: One
Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) from the Operation,

Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek
and Ninety-seven Thousand Dollars ($97,000.00) from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Wedgewood Creek,
is hereby appropriated to be used for project costs for the
construction of storm sewers in Sorrell Drive #2810 (85047), in
the City of Florissant, Missouri.
Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to Schuster Engineering, Inc. as the lowest
responsible bidder for the construction of storm sewers in Sorrell
Drive #2810 (85047), in the City of Florissant, Missouri, within
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids
received and opened on the 6th day of October, 1993 and formally
executed on the 16th day of November, 1993 by said contractor and
by the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the
District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of
the Plan of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
