HomeMy Public PortalAbout09124 O R D I N A N C E NO. 9124 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Thirty-three Thousand Seven Hundred Dollars ($133,700.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in East Drive #2157-#2159 (90275), in the City of Crystal Lake Park, Missouri; and confirming a contract with Gary & Roger L. Link, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid storm sewers, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is Ninety-five Thousand Five Hundred Fifty-five and 55/100 Dollars ($95,555.55), and the cost of engineering, inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs, easement costs, and allowance for construction change orders is Thirty-eight Thousand One Hundred Forty-four and 45/100 Dollars ($38,144.45), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Hundred Thirty-three Thousand Seven Hundred Dollars ($133,700.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in East Drive #2157-#2159 (90275), in the City of Crystal Lake Park, Missouri. 2 Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the Executive Director to Gary & Roger L. Link, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of storm sewers in East Drive #2157-#2159 (90275), in the City of Crystal Lake Park, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 11th day of October, 1993 and formally executed on the 16th day of November, 1993 by said contractor and by the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. 3 The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 17, 1993.
