HomeMy Public PortalAbout09154 O R D I N A N C E NO. 9154 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Seventy-nine Thousand Dollars ($179,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in East Concord Interceptor Relief Phase III (94024), in St. Louis County, Missouri; and confirming a contract with A.F.O., Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid sanitary sewers, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary sewers is One Hundred Fifty-eight Thousand Two Hundred Thirty-five and 55/100 Dollars ($158,235.55), and the cost of engineering, inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs and allowance for construction change orders is Twenty Thousand Seven Hundred Sixty-four and 45/100 Dollars ($20,764.45), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Hundred Seventy-nine Thousand Dollars ($179,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in East Concord Interceptor Relief Phase III (94024), in St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the Executive Director to A.F.O., Inc. as the lowest responsible 2 bidder for the construction of sanitary sewers in East Concord Interceptor Relief Phase III (94024), in St. Louis County, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 15th day of November, 1993, and formally executed on the 13th day of December, 1993 by said contractor and by the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. 3 The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 14, 1993.
