AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Million Seventy
Thousand Dollars ($1,070,000.00) from the Clean Water Capital
Improvement Trust Fund to be used for project costs for the
construction of the Bissell Point Roadway Improvements (BP-13B,
94033) at the Bissell Point Wastewater Treatment Plant, in the
City of St. Louis, Missouri; and confirming a contract with
Altman-Charter Company, for the aforesaid construction, in
compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of the Roadway
Improvements is One Million Fifteen Thousand Five Hundred Dollars
($1,015,500.00), and the allowance for change orders is Fifty-four
Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($ 54,500.00), and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 7.120 of the Plan of the
District, the appropriation effected herein will not result in a
deficit at the end of the current budget year,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Million Seventy Thousand
Dollars ($1,070,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Clean
Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund to be used for project costs
for the construction of the Road Improvements (BP-13B, 94033) at
the Bissell Point Wastewater Treatment Plant, in the City of St.
Louis, Missouri.
Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the
Executive Director to Altman-Charter Company, as the lowest

responsible bidder for the construction of the Road Improvements
(BP-13B, 94033) at the Bissell Point Wastewater Treatment Plant,
in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the
28th day of December, 1993 and formally executed on the 11th day
of January, 1994 by said contractor and by the Executive Director
and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby
confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the
District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
