HomeMy Public PortalAbout09198 O R D I N A N C E NO. 9198 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Nine Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($950,000.00) from the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund to be used for additional engineering services for the Bissell Point Watershed Overflow Regulation System in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment #11 to Contract E-520 with Black & Veatch, for the additional engineering services. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 6050, adopted May 8, 1985, authorized execution of said Contract E-520 and Ordinance Nos. 7914, 8031, 8337, 8460, 8585, 8632, 8689, 8939 and 9144 adopted October 11, 1989, March 23, 1990, April 10, 1991, August 14, 1991, February 12, 1992, April 29, 1992, June 10, 1992, April 14, 1993 and December 14, 1993, respectively, authorized execution of Amendments #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6, #7, #8, #9 and #10 to Contract E-520, and WHEREAS, Amendment #11 defines the scope of services, time and fees and payments for additional engineering services, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Nine Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($950,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund for professional services with Black & Veatch, for the Bissell Point Watershed Overflow Regulation System, M.S.D. Contract E-520, Amendment #11. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment #11 to Contract E-520 with Black & Veatch for additional engineering services for the Bissell Point Watershed Overflow Regulation System in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 11, 1994.
