AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Six Hundred Eighty Thousand Dollars
($680,000.00) from the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund for
professional engineering services for the Bissell Point Secondary Treatment
Project Miscellaneous Plant Improvements; and authorizing the Executive
Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into Contract E-802 with Sverdrup Corporation for the
aforesaid professional engineering services.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 7.120 of the Plan of the District, the
appropriation effected herein will not result in a deficit at the end of the
current budget year,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Six Hundred Eighty Thousand Dollars
($680,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Clean Water Capital Improvement
Trust Fund for professional engineering services with Sverdrup Corporation for
the Bissell Point Secondary Treatment Project Miscellaneous Plant Improvements.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to
enter into Contract E-802 with Sverdrup Corporation for professional
engineering services for the Bissell Point Secondary Treatment Project
Miscellaneous Plant Improvements; said contract to be comprised of such terms
and conditions as are approved by the office of the General Counsel of the
District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance,
shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 11, 1994.
