HomeMy Public PortalAbout09217 O R D I N A N C E NO. 9217 AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to sell and convey to H. Wayne Webb and Linda J. Webb, his wife, certain real property of the District located in St. Louis County, Missouri and prescribing the terms of said transaction. WHEREAS, the real property hereinafter described has been declared as surplus pursuant to Resolution No. 2002, adopted July 9, 1991, and WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 2016, adopted September 18, 1991, said real property was appraised and publicly advertised for sale. All bids were rejected, and said property was then listed with a licensed and qualified real estate broker chosen under provisions of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District's General Management Policy/Procedures P-11 - Securing Professional Services. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District are hereby authorized to sell and convey to H. Wayne Webb and Linda J. Webb, his wife, certain real property of the District located in St. Louis County, Missouri for the total sale price of Fourteen Thousand Dollars ($14,000.00), said real property being described as follows: 2 Lot 25 of St. Bernard Hills Plat 3, a subdivision of St. Louis County, Missouri, as per plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 110, Page 30 and Page 31 of the St. Louis County Records in the office of the Recorder of Deeds, together with all improvements thereon. St. Louis County Locator Number 27P-53-0022. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to execute and deliver a Special Warranty Deed and any and all other documents as approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District as may be necessary to effect the sale and conveyance as authorized in Section One above, and further to deposit the proceeds from said sale and conveyance in the reserve for Real Property Purchase, Improvement and Alterations Account. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 11, 1994.
