O R D I N A N C E NO. 9243
AN ORDINANCE, awarding contracts to The Hartford Specialty
Insurance Company (Johnson & Higgins, Inc., agent) and the Travelers Insurance
Company and Royal Insurance Company (Johnson & Higgins, Inc., agent) for the
District's Excess Flood and Earthquake Insurance coverage from July 1, 1994 to
June 30, 1995.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST.
LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Hartford Specialty Insurance Company, who submitted
a quote for the District's Excess Flood and Earthquake Insurance coverage, for
cumulative earthquake damage ranging from $75 Million through $100 Million, at
a premium of Nineteen Thousand Five Hundred Fifty Dollars ($19,550.00) for such
policy period, is hereby awarded the contract for such Excess Flood and
Earthquake Insurance coverage from July 1, 1994 to June 30, 1995. The premium
amount as hereinabove stated is subject to audit adjustment.
Section Two. The Travelers Insurance Company and Royal Insurance
Company, who submitted a quote for the District's Excess Flood and Earthquake
Insurance coverage, for cumulative flood and earthquake damage ranging from
$100 Million through $200 Million, at a premium of Fifty Thousand Dollars
($50,000.00) for such policy period, is hereby awarded the contract for such
Excess Flood and Earthquake Insurance coverage from July 1, 1994 to June 30,
1995. The premium amount as hereinabove stated is subject to audit adjustment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 8, 1994.
