AN ORDINANCE, repealing Ordinance No. 9053, adopted July
14, 1993 and Ordinance No. 9223, adopted May 11, 1994, and enacting
a new ordinance in lieu thereof which prescribes the salaries of
the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer of The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District, with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. Ordinance No. 9053, adopted July 14, 1993
and Ordinance No. 9223, adopted May 11, 1994, are hereby repealed.
Section Two. The salary of the Executive Director shall
be One Hundred and Two Thousand Dollars ($102,000.00) per annum,
payable in equal bi-weekly installments, on and after June 27,
1994.
Section Three. The salary of the Secretary-Treasurer
shall be Sixty-six Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty Dollars
($66,950.00), payable in equal bi-weekly installments, on and after
June 27, 1994.
Section Four. The positions of Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer are essential to the operation of the District,
and the salaries for said positions must be prescribed without
delay, thus creating an emergency within the meaning of the Plan.
Accordingly, this Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its
enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 8, 1994.
