O R D I N A N C E NO. 9274
AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Twelve Thousand Seven Hundred
Ninety-four and 66/100 Dollars ($12,794.66) from the Improvement
Fund to pay the State of Missouri's share of the total costs for
the construction of storm sewers in Brightside, Clara, So. Gore,
Gray, Lucille, Roseacre Stormwater Project (P-18986), in the City
of Webster Groves, Missouri.
WHEREAS, said project was undertaken by the City of
Webster Groves, Missouri at an estimated total cost of Thirty-eight
Thousand Three Hundred Eighty-four Dollars ($38,384.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Twelve Thousand Seven Hundred Ninety-four and 66/100 Dollars
($12,794.66) toward the total costs of said project, and will
deposit said amount with the District, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there
is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to
pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Twelve Thousand Seven Hundred
Ninety-four and 66/100 Dollars ($12,794.66) is hereby appropriated
from the Improvement Fund to pay the State of Missouri's share of
the total costs for the construction of storm sewers in Brightside,
Clara, So. Gore, Gray, Lucille, Roseacre Stormwater Project (P-
18986), in the City of Webster Groves, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 13, 1994.
