O R D I N A N C E NO. 9281
AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Sixteen Thousand Five Hundred
Sixty-three Dollars ($16,563.00) from the Improvement Fund to pay
the State of Missouri's share of the total costs for the
construction of storm sewers in Hawthorne Estates #153 Stormwater
Project (P-18721), in the City of Town & Country, Missouri.
WHEREAS, said project was undertaken by Town & Country,
Missouri at an estimated total cost of Forty-nine Thousand Six
Hundred Eighty-nine Dollars ($49,689.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
Sixteen Thousand Five Hundred Sixty-three Dollars ($16,563.00)
toward the total costs of said project, and will deposit said
amount with the District, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there
is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to
pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Sixteen Thousand Five Hundred
Sixty-three Dollars ($16,563.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Improvement Fund to pay the State of Missouri's share of the total
costs for the construction of storm sewers in Hawthorne Estates
#153 Stormwater Project (P-18721), in the City of Town & Country,
Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 13, 1994.
