HomeMy Public PortalAbout09300 O R D I N A N C E NO. 9300 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Six Hundred Thirty-one Thousand Dollars ($631,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Carlyle Ave. #10103 Storm Sewer (88165), in the Cities of Overland, St. Ann and Breckenridge Hills, Missouri; and confirming a contract with Yowell Construction Company for the construction of the aforesaid storm sewers, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is Four Hundred Ninety-four Thousand Six Hundred Eighty-two Dollars ($494,682.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection, construction staking, advertisement costs, easement costs, and allowance for construction change orders is One Hundred Thirty-six Thousand Three Hundred Eighteen Dollars ($136,318.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Six Hundred Thirty-one Thousand Dollars ($631,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Carlyle Ave. #10103 Storm Sewer (88165), in the Cities of Overland, St. Ann and Breckenridge Hills, Missouri. Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the Executive Director to Yowell Construction Company as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of storm sewers in Carlyle Ave. #10103 Storm Sewer (88165), in the Cities of Overland, St. Ann and Breckenridge Hills, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 6th day of July 1994 and formally executed on the 9th day of August, 1994 by said contractor and by the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 10, 1994.
