HomeMy Public PortalAbout09303 O R D I N A N C E NO. 9303 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Hundred Thirty Thousand Dollars ($430,000.00), from the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund and to be used for project costs for the construction of the Bonfils Lagoon Abandonment (91018), in the City of Bridgeton, Missouri; and confirming a contract with Goodwin Bros. Construction Co. for the construction of the aforesaid contract, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of the Bonfils Lagoon Abandonment is Four Hundred Eight Thousand Dollars ($408,000.00) and the allowance for change orders is Twenty-two Thousand Dollars ($22,000.0), and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 7.120 of the Plan of the District, the appropriation effected herein will not result in a deficit at the end of the current budget year, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Thirty Thousand Dollars ($430,000.00), to be funded from the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund is hereby appropriated to be used for project costs for the construction of the Bonfils Lagoon Abandonment (91018), in the City of Bridgeton, Missouri. Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the Executive Director to Goodwin Bros. Construction Co. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of the Bonfils Lagoon Abandonment (91018), in the City of Bridgeton, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 9th day of August, 1994 and formally executed on the 9th day of August, 1994 by said contractor and by the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District is hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 10, 1994.
