AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Thousand Dollars
($100,000.00) from the Improvement Fund for the implementation of the
District's interest-free loan program for the installation of water meters for
unmetered single family residential property.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 9222, adopted May 11, 1994 established the
District's interest-free loan program for the installation of water meters for
unmetered single family residential property, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00)
is hereby appropriated from the Improvement Fund for the implementation of the
District's interest-free loan program for the installation of water meters for
unmetered single family residential property.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance,
shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 10, 1994.
