AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Fifty Thousand Four Hundred
Dollars ($150,400.00) from the General Fund of the District for an
environmental evaluation of stored incinerator ash at the Bissell Point
Wastewater Treatment Plant; and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District to enter into Contract E-804 with
Engineering Science, Inc. for the aforesaid services.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Fifty Thousand Four Hundred
Dollars ($150,400.00) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the
District for an environmental evaluation of stored incinerator ash at the
Bissell Point Wastewater Treatment Plant.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to
enter into Contract E-804 with Engineering Science, Inc. for an environmental
evaluation of stored incinerator ash at the Bissell Point Wastewater Treatment
Plant; said contract to be comprised of such terms and conditions as are
approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance,
shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 14, 1994.
