AN ORDINANCE, appropriating a total of Two Million Six Hundred
Ninety Thousand Dollars ($2,690,000.00), to be funded as follows: One Million
Two Hundred Ninety-two Thousand Dollars ($1,292,000.00) from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Missouri River-Bonfils, One
Million One Hundred Sixty-five Thousand Dollars ($1,165,000.00) from the
Bonfils Operating Fund, and Two Hundred Thirty-three Thousand Dollars
($233,000.00) from the Missouri Bottoms Operating Fund, to be used for project
costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Missouri River Wastewater
Treatment Plant Outfall (93055), in St. Louis County, Missouri; and confirming
a contract with Tarlton Corporation for the construction of the aforesaid
sanitary sewers, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary sewers is
Two Million Three Hundred Eighty-four Thousand Six Hundred Forty Dollars
($2,384,640.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection, construction staking,
advertisement costs, and allowance for construction change orders is Three
Hundred Five Thousand Three Hundred Sixty Dollars ($305,360.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The total sum of Two Million Six Hundred Ninety
Thousand Dollars ($2,690,000.00), to be funded as follows: One Million Two
Hundred Ninety-two Thousand Dollars ($1,292,000.00) from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Missouri River-Bonfils, One

Million One Hundred Sixty-five Thousand Dollars ($1,165,000.00) from the
Bonfils Operating Fund, and Two Hundred Thirty-three Thousand Dollars
($233,000.00) from the Missouri Bottoms Operating Fund is hereby appropriated
to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in
Missouri River Wastewater Treatment Plant Outfall (93055), in St. Louis County,
Missouri;
Section Two. The contract heretofore let by the Executive Director
to Tarlton Corporation as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of
sanitary sewers in Missouri River Wastewater Treatment Plant Outfall (93055),
in St. Louis County, Missouri with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District,
pursuant to bids received and opened on the 9th day of September, 1994 and
formally executed on the 13th day of September, 1994 by said contractor and by
the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of the District is
hereby confirmed, in compliance with Section 9.040 of the Plan of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance,
shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
