AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to sell and
convey to the City of Valley Park, Missouri certain real property of the
District located in St. Louis County, Missouri and prescribing the terms of
said transaction.
WHEREAS, the real property hereinafter described is a portion of
the District's Vance Road Pump Station property, and its sale will not effect
the District's operation of said pump station; and the property as herein
conveyed is necessary to the City of Valley Park, Missouri for use in
connection with Lower Meramec River Basin (Valley Park), Missouri, Flood
Protection Project, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 2016, adopted September 18,
1991, said real property was appraised and the purchaser is a public
governmental agency having the power of eminent domain.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on
behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District are hereby authorized to
sell and convey to the City of Valley Park, Missouri, certain real property of
the District located in St. Louis County, Missouri for the total sale price of
Three Thousand Seven Hundred Dollars ($3,700.00), said real property being
described as follows:
A tract of land in U.S. Survey 2999, alias 2004, Township 44 North, Range
5 East of the Fifth Principal Meridian, being a part of Lot 16 of
Meramec Pacific Railroad Subdivision, St. Louis County, Missouri,
as per plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 6, Page 297 of the St.
Louis City (former County) records, and described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the centerline of Vance Road, 40 feet wide,
and the centerline of Fish Pot Creek, and also being the Southwest
corner of a tract described in deed recorded in Book 2852, Page 144
of the St. Louis County records; thence along the centerline of
Fish Pot Creek, North 36 degrees 14 minutes 00 seconds West, 35.60
feet to a point; thence North 73 degrees 20 minutes 43 seconds
East, 103.80 feet to a point; thence Easterly along a curve concave
to the South, having a radius of 608.31 feet and an arc length of
166.57 feet to a point; thence South 17 degrees 33 minutes 46
seconds West, 74.08 feet to a point in the centerline of Vance
Road; thence along said centerline, North 74 degrees 13 minutes 38
seconds West, 97.38 feet to a point; thence along said centerline
South 72 degrees 32 minutes 00 seconds West, 132.53 feet, to the
Point of Beginning, and containing 0.22 acres, more or less.

Permanent Drainage Easement
A tract of land in U.S. Survey 2999, alias 2004, Township 44 North, Range
5 East of the Fifth Principal Meridian, being a part of Lot 16 of
Meramec Pacific Railroad Subdivision, St. Louis County, Missouri,
as per plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 6, Page 297 of the St.
Louis City (former County) records, and described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the North line of Vance Road, 40 feet wide,
said point being distant North 74 degrees 13 minutes 38 seconds
West, 507.45 feet from the intersection of said North line of Vance
Road with the West line of Main Street, 40 feet wide; thence
leaving said North line of Vance Road North 17 degrees 33 minutes
46 seconds East, 54.01 feet to the Point of Beginning; thence
Westerly along a curve concave to the South having a radius of
607.96 feet and an arc length of 166.36 feet; thence South 73
degrees 20 minutes 37 seconds West, 103.94 feet; thence North 36
degrees 14 minutes 00 seconds West, 21.23 feet; thence North 73
degrees 20 minutes 37 seconds East, 111.05 feet; thence along a
curve concave to the South having a radius of 627.96 feet and an
arc length of 134.26 feet; thence North 67 degrees 11 minutes 27
seconds East, 54.61 feet; thence South 17 degrees 33 minutes 46
seconds West, 41.33 feet to the Point of Beginning, and containing
0.13 acres, more or less.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to
execute and deliver a Special Warranty Deed and any and all other documents as
approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District as may be
necessary to effect the sale and conveyance as authorized in Section One above,
and further to deposit the proceeds from said sale and conveyance in the
reserve for Real Property Purchase, Improvement and Alterations Account.
